2021 Donations and Sponsorships

In 2021, the Caisse maintained its cooperative distinction by contributing $646,309 to its communities in the form of donations and sponsorships, including the community fund. True to its mission, vision and values, the Caisse listens to the needs of the communities it serves and invests in local cultural, social, educational, sports, medical, economic and community organizations. This report is an extension of what distinguishes us as a cooperative.

North West Region

The Caisse is proud to have been a cooperative leader in the communities of Hearst, Longlac and Mattice in 2021 by offering its time, support and the sum of $100,052 in donations and sponsorships to over 50 community organizations.

North Central Region

$89,671

During the year 2021, $89,671 was donated and sponsored in the Smooth Rock Falls area of Opasatika. Again this year, the Caisse and its employees were present in various community initiatives and activities in Kapuskasing and surrounding areas.

North East Region

$42,207

The Caisse financially supported several events and organizations in various fields. We are proud to have contributed $42,207 in donations and sponsorships in the year 2021. Our community involvement in Timmins, Iroquois Falls and Val Gagné remains at the heart of our cooperative values.

Nipissing West Region

$108,242

We are proud to have contributed $108,242 in donations and sponsorships in our communities of Alban, Argyle, Noëlville, St.-Charles, Markstay, Warren and Verner for the year 2021.

Nipissing Central Region

Being close to our members and involved in our communities is of great importance, which is why we are actively involved in community activities, either by our presence or by offering donations and sponsorships in our region. In 2021, $118,508 was donated to the communities of the Nipissing Central region.

Nipissing East Region

$141,200

Caisse Alliance is committed to contributing to the growth, support and well-being of its communities. Our report card demonstrates the positive impact the Nipissing East Branches are having in the communities of Bonfield, Mattawa, North Bay and West Ferris.

Head Office

$46,429 + $600,000 towards our Caisse Alliance Fund (Community Fund)

In 2021, the head office donated $46,429 to its communities through donations and sponsorships. Supporting organizations and initiatives that contribute to the vitality of our communities while providing people with an environment where they can live, learn and play is what sets us apart as a cooperative.

Again this year, the Caisse contributed $600,000 to the Caisse Alliance Fund, or $100,000 per region. The regional cooperative committees are responsible for redistributing this amount in their communities to financially support structuring projects, i.e., projects that will have a long-term impact on a maximum number of members in our communities.
