2020 Donations and Sponsorships

$639,077

In 2020, the Caisse showed its cooperative difference by contributing $639,077 to its communities in the form of donations and sponsorships, including the Caisse’s community assistance fund. True to its mission, vision and values, the Caisse is responsive to the needs of its communities. The following highlights what distinguishes us as a cooperative.

North West Region

$50,006 $ + $108,500 from the community assistance fund

The 2020 year allowed us to highlight our cooperative values and put them to work in our communities. The North West region (Hearst, Longlac, Mattice) contributed $158,506 in donations and sponsorships to support 62 local organizations or activities, and our employees volunteered approximately 1200 hours to 40 community organizations.

North Central Region

$38,353 + $120,405 from the community assistance fund

The amount of $158,758 was given in donations and sponsorships across the region, from Smooth Rock Falls to Opasatika during 2020. The North Central region has been close to its members for 80 years, pandemic or not. We have been involved in a number of community initiatives and our staff have served on various boards and committees, as well as virtually participating in many community awareness campaigns and events in the Kapuskasing area.

North East Region

$47,548 + $10,000 from the community assistance fund

Caisse Alliance is proud to have contributed $57,548 in donations and sponsorships despite the restrictions imposed on us by COVID-19. Our community involvement in Timmins, Iroquois Falls and Val Gagné remains at the heart of our cooperative values. The Caisse financially supported several events and organizations in various fields.

Nipissing West Region

$66,480

Despite the pandemic, Caisse Alliance is proud to have contributed $66,480 in donations and sponsorships to the communities of Alban, Argyle, Noëlville, St. Charles, Markstay, Warren and Verner.

Nipissing Central Region

$19,674+ $8,419 from the community assistance fund

The development of our community is important to us and that is why we are actively involved in community activities, either through our presence or by offering donations and sponsorships in the Central Nipissing region. In 2020, $28,093 was donated to support community and humanitarian causes, as well as sports, recreation, culture and education in the communities of Sturgeon Falls and Field.

Nipissing East Region

$44,700 + $100,000 from the community assistance fund

Caisse Alliance is committed to the growth, support and well-being of its communities. The Nipissing East branches have had a positive impact on the communities of Bonfield, Mattawa, North Bay and West Ferris.

Head Office

$24,992

The Caisse Alliance head office maintained its cooperative spirit by returning $14,992 to its communities in the form of donations and sponsorships. True to the Caisse’s mission, vision and values, the head office pays attention to the needs of the people in its regions and invests in local cultural, social, educational, sports, medical, economic and community organizations.

Supporting organizations and initiatives that contribute to the vitality of our communities while offering people an environment where they can live, learn and play is what sets us apart as a cooperative.
