THE CAISSE ALLIANCE BURSARY AWARDS $10,000 ONCE MORE THIS YEAR TO OUR DESERVING STUDENTS<\/h3>\n

NORTH BAY – June 5 and 6, 2023: Caisse Alliance announces that it has awarded $10,000 in scholarships again this year to two students, in addition to a $4,520 bursary in partnership with the Fondation franco-ontarienne. It was with great pleasure that our teams from the North and Nipissing regions travelled to surprise them personally with the news.<\/p>\n

Northern Region recipient\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Involved from an early age, Timmins recipient Brandon Bennett stands out for his school and community involvement as a student counsellor with the Conseil scolaire publique du Nord-Est. Demonstrating great involvement and responsibility in many community projects, Brandon wishes to influence the next generation to become involved and serve their communities through a career in teaching.<\/p>\n

Nipissing Region Recipient<\/strong><\/p>\n

A medical student at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, Chelsie Baizana is a leader seeking a career in family health. Her interests focus on Indigenous community health, addiction medicine and rural medicine. She works diligently to pave the way for a legacy of progress for our communities. Having lived in a small northern community, she knows the issues and impacts of service availability and quality in these communities.<\/p>\n

The scholarship selection committee would like to thank all the candidates and congratulate each of them on their remarkable achievements and acts of solidarity.<\/p>\n
