On September 30, 2008, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) launched the National Do Not Call List. The purpose of this list is to reduce the number of unwanted telemarketing calls and faxes Canadians receive*.<\/p>\n
In order to respect the choice of its members and clients, the Caisse populaire has taken all necessary steps to ensure its internal rules comply with the new National DNCL rules.<\/p>\n
If you no longer wish to receive telemarketing calls from the Caisse populaire components you do not have a business relationship with**, you can register your home phone, cellular and fax numbers on the National DNCL:<\/p>\n
Your registration will be valid for 3 years.<\/p>\n
If you wish to be removed from any marketing communications, contact your Caisse populaire.<\/p>\n
Find a service center<\/a><\/p>\n Under the new rules, market research and service calls are not considered telemarketing calls, which means our components may contact you by phone:<\/p>\n Consistent with the new rules, your exclusion request will be processed within a\u00a0maximum of 31 days<\/strong>, which is necessary to update our systems. Therefore, you could receive telemarketing calls during this period.
