3 The cheque must be in Canadian currency and come from a Canadian financial institution. The original cheque must be kept for 10 days. Daily limit of $10,000 and 30-day limit of $100,000. Rules applicable to cheque hold periods are the same as those for cheques deposited at the teller counter.
4 Maximum of $3,000 can be transferred over a 24-hour period. Minimum amount: $0.01. No fee if you have a plan and are within your plan’s transaction limit. No fee for the recipient.
