If you obtain a new Debit Mastercard in branch, you will be asked to enter a 4-digit PIN. You will then be immediately able to use your new card.

If you receive a Caisse Alliance Debit Mastercard by mail for the very first time, you will receive a new PIN in a separate mailing. You will then be able to change your 4-digit PIN, either in branch or at an ATM.

If you already had a Debit Mastercard (see image below), reported it lost or stolen and ordered a new one by mail, you will have the option to receive a new PIN by mail (in a separate mailing) or to simply use your same 4-digit PIN.

In this case, your card will be activated as soon as you use it for the first time, either at a point of sale or at an ATM, using your PIN. The contactless payment feature (Tap) will be activated when you use your card for the second time. If you wish to deactivate this feature, you can do so by contacting your branch.
